Notes

Two background images for Null (Positive), from my VN, Chronicles of a Professional Father. The story had reused some early unfinished art of Null’s spirit form and one section had no images or sprites for it so it felt so plain. So of course I decide to quickly draw these two pictures to make sure there was some visual for all parts of Null (Positive)!

Details

Since this is before Null finds Chisa, they still have their scarf and their hair is a little longer and messier…although it might have turned out messier than intended! The purple clouds in the first picture is meant to hint at their former partner “Lu”. Lu is still a big WIP and the big issue is… I have no idea what Lu looks like. Or Lu’s pronouns. I have a vague idea of Lu’s personality but… shrugs. I just know I want Lu to be associated with clouds and I’ve associated Swablu/Altaria with them.

Null’s scarf ended up being more detailed cause I wanted to work in more roots/branches stuff into their design. Their spirit form hair has pieces coming off of it like petals which you can kinda see here. It’s a WIP how I want to tackle Null’s spirit form but that’s not gonna stop me from using practice drawings in my VN.
